Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are very pleased to be working with a well-regarded and progressive Essex firm of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success, are now looking to add a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Colchester.

Working within this forward-thinking practice, you will be responsible for dealing with a range of clients of varying sizes, processing payrolls to various frequencies (weekly, monthly, fortnightly etc.), liaising with the clients to ensure timely and smooth processing of their work and making recommendations as appropriate to increase the efficiency of the process.

The successful candidate will have experience of processing payroll within an accountancy practice or bureau environment and will understand auto-enrolment requirements. You will be conversant with Issuing P45s and P60s; Transfer of employees under TUPE rules; RTI and CIS procedures; submission of year-end payroll returns.
