Outsourcing/ Accounting Manager - Banbury, Oxfordshire

This Regional Independent Firm are currently recruiting for an exciting Outsourcing opportunity in their main Banbury, Oxfordshire office. The Outsourcing/ Accounting Manager role offers an excellent opportunity for an accountant with strong financial reporting, IT & presenting skills to progress their career into an Outsourcing, Accounts, Advisory & Cloud Accounting role.

This role provides the opportunity to combine traditional accounting experience with modern accounting practices through the utilisation of cloud accounting software.

The role is a significant recruit for the firm; the successful candidate would be managing a team of 4-5 staff members, whilst also overseeing a varied portfolio of clients, concentrating on Outsourcing services - Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and introducing clients to the benefits of cloud accounting software.

Candidates from mixed accounts, outsourcing or audit roles will also be considered. You will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.

Working with the management team to ensure work is managed in and out of the department effectively and efficiently;
Review of financial accounts, management accounts and forecasts prepared by the business advisory team;
Prepare Management Accounts, VAT Returns, Budgets and Forecasts, both in-house and at client premises;
Providing training and technical support to the team to enable staff development.
Provide support to clients, who maintain their own records, using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and other accounting systems

Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) is required
