Clark Wood are currently working with a leading firm of chartered accountants in Leatherhead who are currently looking to add an Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant to join their growing Outsourcing team.

Our client is looking for a versatile and well-rounded individual to undertake a varied role where you will have responsibility for your own portfolio of clients. It will be your responsibility to ensure the accurate and efficient provision of a range of services to your clients, building strong working relationships with them to allow you to become a trusted advisor to them.  

As an Outsourcing Senior / Management Accountant you will have hands on involvement in the delivery of management information and reports to your clients. You will also provide bookkeeping and VAT services to clients as part of this varied role.

You will gain exposure to a diverse array of clients including groups, large standalone limited companies and international businesses.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified or part qualified and will have experience of working with multiple clients in a practice environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Portfolio management, building and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Providing regular bookkeeping services, either in the office or at the client’s premises, reconciling the balance sheet items and reviewing the information
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Supervision of junior team members at times
Review all work produced prior to passing to the Manager
Preparation of fees for Manager/Partner review and approval fee notes
Monitoring your work in progress on all jobs within your portfolio
Liaising with other departments within the firm as required

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (Part Qualified will also be considered)
Experience of working within a practice is essential
Excellent accounting software knowledge including Xero
