Outsourcing Senior

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with this well-renowned firm of chartered accountants as they are currently seeking to recruit an Outsourcing Senior to join their team in Peterborough.

Our client is looking for an individual to join the outsourcing department which is responsible for the back office financial function for a wide range of clients.

In this varied role you will be responsible for the completion of all monthly ledger work, booking of accruals and prepayments, fixed assets and completion of monthly management accounts. Controlling bank accounts and Bank reconciliations and in some cases making payments on behalf of the client or setting up the payment runs for their approval and release.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have experience of working with multiple clients in a practice environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review of Bank and Credit card reconciliations
Daily/Weekly processing of client paperwork/data files in various Accounting/ERP systems
Prepare and process accruals, prepayments and other month end journals
Lead or assist in the preparation of monthly client management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns and EC sales lists
Responsible for the reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts, with particular emphasis in the area of inventories and debtors
Assist in resolving internal and external queries from the client
Compilation of Audit, Statutory accounts and CIT pack, with liaison for the groups/entities auditors
Payroll journals and reconciliations

Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience of cloud accounting software
ACA / ACCA / AAT Qualified or qualified by experience
Experience of working within a practice is essential
