Outsourcing Assistant

Clark Wood is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the Outsourcing department of this established Milton Keynes Accountancy Practice as an outsourcing assistant

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients and will be working alongside senior members of staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FA to gain broad exposure working with a variety of different clients in areas such as; Business transaction processing, Cash flow management & execution of bank payments, Forecasting & budget implementation, VAT compliance reporting, Monthly management reporting, Audit support & assistance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Processing expenses & purchase invoices
Petty cash & bank account reconciliations
Cash flow management
Execution of accounts payable payments
Execution of salary & statutory liability payments
Supplier statement reconciliations
Liaising with clients and answering routine queries

Skills:

Experience in making online bank payments
Strong IT skills and sound knowledge of excel
QuickBooks accounting software experience would be beneficial
