Mixed Tax Assistant Manager - Shrewsbury

Public Practice & Tax Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm of accountants who are keen to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join the growing tax team in their Shrewsbury office.

Provide a timely and accurate tax compliance service, including portfolio management responsibilities across both Personal and Corporate Tax, with the ability for bias towards corporate tax or personal tax.

Responsibility for managing a Compliance portfolio of Private and Corporate Tax as well as associated project work and the opportunity to be involved in advisory work.

You will be responsible for the provision of tax compliance services to clients within your portfolio, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and efficiently to the highest standards through the preparation and review of tax papers.

This will include reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by accounts staff as well as preparing personal tax returns, capital gains tax computations and dealing with HMRC queries as required.

There will be opportunity for the right candidate to become involved in tax planning advice as the role develops.

Ideally you will be ATT Qualified of CTA / ACCA Part qualified with relevant tax experience within a practice environment.
