Mixed Tax Manager

Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit highly skilled Mixed Tax Manager to join the growing team in their Dartford office.

Reporting to the Tax Partners you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance process for a varied portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. The successful individual would also be exposed to a large proportion of interesting, high level planning and advisory projects.

The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified with experience of working at Manager level within an established firm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing and ambitious Manager to progress their career within one of the most reputable firms in the region. This is a high-level position encompassing staff development, work delegation, responsibility for large, diverse tax portfolio with respect to compliance & advisory work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage portfolio of clients and responsible for the review of corporate tax comps and personal tax returns
Involved in personal & corporate tax advisory work such as; IHT & CGT planning, pension, profit extraction, share schemes, restructuring and M&A
Liaising with clients, advising on liabilities due, quarterly payments due if appropriate and tax saving opportunities
Identify tax planning opportunities as appropriate
Assisting the relevant partners with technical advice & advisory projects

Skills:

CTA Qualification
Staff and client management experience
Experience of advisory work desirable
