Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood is currently recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable and leading firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an experienced and driven Mixed Tax Director to the team in their Manchester office.

​

You will be a key part of the leadership team delivering an excellent range of tax services to a diverse set of clients, consisting of private client individuals and owner managed businesses

​

Duties & Responsibilities:

​

Technical lead in corporate tax advisory services. You will be expected to professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals.

​

Tax technical work including reviewing tax planning reports, technical research, ad hoc advisory work, meeting with clients and dealing with day to day client queries.

​

Liaising with all directors in terms of strategic decisions and tax related operations

​

Identifying tax planning opportunities across our diverse portfolio of individuals and companies as listed above. A pro-active approach is sought and the ideal individual would build their own relationships over time

​

Assistance with the tax compliance responsibilities would be included within the role which may cover reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, preparation of complex returns where necessary and overseeing annual compliance matters such as ERS, ATED and P11Ds

​

Skills:

​

ATT/CTA/ACA or ACCA qualified/overseas equivalent with tax experience overseas equivalent with experience working in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice
