Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a prestigious mid-tier firm of chartered accountants who are looking to grow their Tax department by adding a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager / Manager to the team in their East London office.

This distinguished, highly progressive firm have developed an excellent reputation as a result of their client centric ethos and have an excellent and ever-growing presence across London and the wider South East.

As a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager / Manager the successful person will be responsible for their own mixed portfolio of Personal & Corporate clients, whilst also working closely with the partners to support them on specialist advisory and consulting projects.

The role will consist of a mixture of both tax compliance services and tax planning work with the firm viewing the advisory services they offer as a key component of what sets them apart from other firms locally.

As a manager, you will play an important role in the development of the firm’s tax offering through taking part in networking and business development activities. You will be responsible for motivating and guiding a dynamic team of tax professionals, aiding their development in any way possible.

The ideal person will have significant experience of undertaking a mixed tax role in practice and will be CTA Qualified.

Skills:

CTA Qualified or Finalist
Experience of both personal and corporate tax work
Previous exposure to advisory and planning work
