Mixed Tax Assistant Manager

The main purpose of this role would be to take overall responsibility for a varied tax portfolio including property and agriculture clients. The successful candidate will work closely with a highly regarding Tax Partner and will be responsible for dealing with the more specialist aspects of both personal and corporate clients' tax affairs.

The ideal candidate will be CTA Qualified and will have relevant managerial skills as well as sound mixed tax knowledge and technical expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to develop their skills and career within a leading regional firm.  

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing consultancy and advisory services to a mixed portfolio of OMBs, SMES, trusts and private clients
Review of business make ups and the interaction with businesses and advice of any planning opportunities to mitigate or reduce tax
Management of client tax issues ensuring processing deadlines are met in all areas of business and personal tax
Deal with any specialist tax work issues and any problems that arise on a day to day basis
Taking part in networking events and meeting prospective clients to promote the firm.

Skills:

CTA Qualified / ATT Qualified
ACA Qualified
Property and Agriculture Sector experience would be advantageous
Staff management experience
