Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading firm of accountants in Hertfordshire who are actively looking for a Head of Tax to play a key role overseeing tax operations for the firm

This is a rare and key appointment for the firm due to internal growth with in the firm and several recent business wins

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Tax senior management team of this leading Hertfordshire tax practice. You would be leading the team’s tax advisory projects ensuring work is delivered within scope, on time and within budget, and networking within the region to build new business for the firm.

This will involve acting as principle on a portfolio of tax clients, which will include HNWIs, non-resident and non-domiciled individuals based across the UK

You will lead on complex advisory projects, including preparing reports and reviewing and managing the delivery of the team’s advisory projects, supporting the development of more junior members of the team.

In turn, your development will be supported by the Partner team, and for the right individual progression to Partner is a very realistic prospect in a sensible timeframe.
