Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a modern and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Hove who are now looking to add an experienced Cloud Bookkeeper to their growing team.

The workload will be varied with the successful person gaining exposure to a wide array of clients for whom you will be assisting with their bookkeeping needs, management accounting and VAT. The role will also include providing software training to clients and other team members as required.

The firm are heavily involved within Cloud Accounting, so experience within Online Accounting packages such as Xero, QBO and Sage Accounting (Cloud) is preferable.

Full or Part Time would be considered for the role, the firm offers flexibility to work from home along with flexi hours.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified, AATQB, or may be qualified by experience.

Responsibilities include:

Carry out weekly, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.

Preparing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes

Attending client premises, where necessary, to undertake bookkeeping role on-site which includes preparation of management information for clients;

Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
