Expatriate Tax Manager
Location:    London
Salary:    £60,000 - £70,000

Our client seeks a Manager to present solutions to increasingly complex technical issues, demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge in own service area to solve complex technical issues and manage a team in demanding assignments on a day to day basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity to be responsible for the effective management of a portfolio of expatriate clients and advisory projects involving expatriate and non-domicile tax planning.

The role also offers the opportunity to advise in relation to employment tax matters in general, including equity reward arrangements

Responsibilities:

Expatriate tax compliance and planning work
Managing an interesting and varied portfolio of smaller programmes and HNW resident and domicile cases
Advising companies and HR professionals on issues affecting their expat populations including employment contracts, social security issues
Increase technical knowledge and advise on general employment tax issues such as benefits in kind, termination payments and PAYE and NIC planning
Advice on the tax treatment of share options
Considerable client contact and liaison with HMR&C and third parties such as law firms and banks
Assisting senior staff with business development activities and developing the ability to identify potential leads for other departments in the firm.
Working alongside colleagues in areas such as tax investigations and corporate tax - internal marketing

Skills:

ATT/ACA/ACCA
CTA qualified
Extensive expat knowledge and experience
Experience in Employment Taxes
