Corporate Tax Senior - Portsmouth

Public Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a well renowned and progressive regional firm of accountants who are seeking to recruit a Corporate Tax Semi Senior or Senior to join the tax team in their Portsmouth office.

You will be responsible for around 40/50% tax advisory as well as 60/50% compliance matters.

The successful candidate will be working with a varied portfolio of clients for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all tax compliance files are prepared and submitted accurately and efficiently in line with all appropriate deadlines. As well as the compliance aspects of the role you will gain exposure to advisory and tax panning work through assisting senior staff. You will gain exposure to: Research & Development; Share schemes including EMI; EIS and SEIS investment; Capital Allowances; Mergers, de-mergers, substantial shareholdings exemption and group restructuring; sales and acquisitions; International tax matters.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ ACCA Student or ATT qualified and will have built up strong corporate tax & accounts experience through their previous position.
