​Corporate Tax Manager – Worcester, Worcestershire

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (DOE)

Clark Wood is currently working with a leading regional firm of Chartered Accountants in Worcester who are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their expanding tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional to take on a key managerial role, overseeing a portfolio of corporate clients and supporting both compliance and advisory work. The role offers a clear pathway for progression within a dynamic and supportive firm.

The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across various sectors, ensuring timely and accurate compliance

• Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff

• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services including R&D claims, group structuring, capital allowances, and transfer pricing

• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on complex tax issues

• Mentor and support junior members of the tax team

• Work closely with partners and directors to develop client relationships and identify advisory opportunities

About You:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified

• Significant experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice

• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
