Tax recruitment specialist's Clark Wood are currently working with one of the most prestigious firms of Chartered Accountants in the South West who are looking for an ambitious individual to take an influential role as a Corporate Tax Manager in their Wells office.

Reporting to the Tax Directors you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and guidance to them,

You will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic tax planning and high level business tax compliance on matters ranging from tax efficient financing, mergers, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring and complex tax authority enquiries for large clients. Also dealing with group situations and taxation issues faced by OMBs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
Deal with the more complex corporate tax compliance affairs for a portfolio of clients and the implications for personal tax within owner managed businesses.
Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns from company accounts
Dealing directly with HMRC on complex enquiries and similar
Undertaking capital allowance reviews
Tax Planning
