Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/ Manager

Are you an experienced Corporate Tax professional looking to progress your career by joining a large national Top 10 practice?

This national professional services firm are currently recruiting for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join the tax team in Southampton. The firm have an outstanding reputation in the local market and has a growing client base driven by good marketing work and a high number of referrals.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will report directly to the tax director or tax partner.

You will be required to manage a portfolio of clients, including developing a good relationship with them, understanding their requirements, billing and keeping the client partner aware of status and issues.

You will ideally be CTA Qualified, although ACA and ACCA will also be considered, and you will have strong and demonstrable OMB/Business Tax experience including a high level of technically competency on UK tax issues; the team deals with a broad range of tax issues, including R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning, transfer pricing, VAT & employment issues.
