Clark Wood is working with a Bristol-based firm that is currently hiring an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to support its growing client base. As part of their expanding Bristol team, they are seeking a skilled Transaction Support professional to manage key projects and contribute to the firm’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage due diligence projects and teams, delivering high-quality reports within set deadlines to assist client decision-making.

  • Mentor and support junior team members with technical aspects, aiding in their professional development.

  • Analyse financial and operational data, including historical and projected trading, cash flow, and balance sheets.

  • Identify key issues that may impact the transaction value.

  • Evaluate and quantify potential risk areas to address in the deal structure.

  • Contribute to business development initiatives within the Bristol office and the Corporate Finance team.

Ideal Candidate:

To excel as a Corporate Finance Manager, you should meet the following criteria:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a solid background in Transaction Support/Advisory.

  • Proven managerial or assistant managerial experience, including mentoring and developing team members.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships and a network of contacts.

  • Ability to identify core issues from large datasets and highlight risk factors that may affect transaction pricing.

  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and financial analysis.

  • A client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail, quality, and accuracy.

  • Ability to see the bigger picture and thrive under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
