Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood have recently been instructed by highly reputable, national firm based in the Birmingham area to source an experienced Corporate Finance Director or Partner. This role can be based in the West or East Midlands depending on the candidate's professional network.

​

They key focuses of the role would be concentrating upon M&A work, transactions, funding, forecasting, with some additional exposure to lead advisory work and due diligence.

​

Clients would be mid market OMBs and SMEs, so an overall advisory mindset and skillset would be required. Deals in the region of £5mil to £50 mil.

​

As Corporate Finance Director or Partner you will bridge the gap between the Executives and the Senior Management team, by not only delivering the more complex reporting, but working with the more junior team members to provide guidance and support.

​

You will be able to lead meetings and relationships with your clients, providing detailed guidance on the information delivered and guide them through the transaction.

​

Acting as a lead on assignments, you will be able to pull all aspects together through strong leadership and technical ability. You will be encouraged to network with wider Corporate Finance teams within the business to ensure you are working on a National level to service clients and keep technical expertise current.

​

As part of the management team, your journey will continue via mentorship by the senior management team in both your local office and wider network to provide soft skills development such as more effective client management and staff management.

​

The firm have fully embraced agile working and are happy with either office based work 5 days per week, or only a couple of days in the office.

​

The Birmingham office is commutable from areas all over the West & East Midlands. There is a huge amount of autonomy in the role, so you could predominantly be based at home, or on the road visiting clients. Areas commutable to the office include; Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire etc.
