Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-renowned and forward-thinking firm of chartered accountants in Sale who are now looking to add a Cloud Accounts Assistant to their team.

The workload will be varied with the successful person’s role seeing them working with online accounting software including Xero and Quickbooks. You will be responsible for the provision of bookkeeping services to clients including reconciliations and payroll journals as well as preparing and submitting VAT returns, and preparing management accounts.

As a Cloud Accounts Assistant you will have experience of working within practice and will be adept in the use of online accounting software including Xero, Quickbooks, Sage One, or FreeAgent.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience with previous experience of working within practice being essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertaking client bookkeeping work
Maintaining cashbooks
Preparation of VAT returns
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Attending client premises as required
Providing accounting advice and support to clients

Skills:

AAT Qualified / Qualified by Experience
Experience of working in a practice environment is essential
Good knowledge of online accounting software is essential
