£55,000 - £60,000

Clark Wood is delighted to be working with a highly respected accountancy firm to recruit an experienced Accounts & Audit Charities Manager for a 100% remote position.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established specialist team, offering the flexibility to work entirely from home while managing a varied portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients. You'll play a key role in delivering technical expertise, building long-term client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.

The Role

Manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients.
Prepare and review statutory accounts in accordance with Charity SORP.
Lead charity audits and independent examinations.
Provide technical advice on complex charity accounting and compliance matters.
Support clients with bookkeeping and management accounts where required.
Build trusted client relationships, delivering a proactive and high-quality service.
Review work, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the team.
Play an active role in the firm's charities and not-for-profit group, helping to drive technical consistency and best practice across the business.

About You

ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of two years' post-qualified experience (QBE candidates will also be considered).
Previous experience working with charities and not-for-profit organisations within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of Charity SORP and charity compliance.
Experience leading charity audits and independent examinations.
Experience with CCH Charities Accounts Production would be advantageous but is not essential.
