Public Practice Specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading regional firm in Walsall who are seeking a Client Manager to join their Business Services department.

The role will involve managing your own portfolio of clients as well as junior staff members, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The main duties of this role include delivering accounting & taxation services to Limited Companies, Sole Traders & Partnerships. The successful candidate will have strong Accounts & Tax experience and will be working with a diverse range of clients including Owner Managed Businesses, Partnerships and PLCs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working underneath the partner, servicing an exciting portfolio of commercial clients.
Playing an active part in developing the Business Services department,
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation and review of VAT returns
Preparation of Personal Tax returns including self-assessments
Preparation of Corporation Tax computations
Dealing with client’s ad hoc queries
Review of work done by junior staff

Skills:

ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
AAT Qualified & QBE candidates will also be considered
Experience of working in practice is essential
