Business Services Senior - Shrewsbury

Clark Wood is recruiting for a progressive and regional firm of chartered accountants in Shropshire who, due to continued growth, are seeking to recruit an ambitious Business Services Senior.

The successful candidate will have excellent experience of working in a varied general practice position including Accounts Preparation and Tax work. Candidates who are ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified will both be considered.]

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparation of limited company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and returns
Assistance with business advisory work
Preparation of larger sole-trader and partnership accounts
Basic self-assessment tax return preparation 
Undertaking basic tax research under supervision
Assistance with tax planning and advisory work
Dealing with HMRC correspondence

Skills

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
Experience of supervising / reviewing work completed by junior staff would be beneficial
