Business Services Senior - Derby

Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in Derby who, as a result of continued growth within the business, are now looking to recruit an experienced and driven Accounts Senior to join their team. Part Time will also be considered.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm in a position which will offer the successful candidate a position with an excellent level of responsibility, autonomy and plenty of client interaction.

The day to day workload will primarily consist of the preparation and review of year end accounts and associated tax computations for a diverse portfolio of clients from an array of industry sectors, ensuring that all work for those clients is completed in line with all relevant deadlines and to the highest possible standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients 
Preparation of year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
Corporation Tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of VAT returns
Visiting clients at their premises
Overseeing junior staff, providing training and assisting with their development.

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience 
Individuals must have experience of working within practice
