Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a leading regional firm of accountants who are looking to add a Business Senior to their growing team.
Working within this reputable and growing firm you will be gain exposure to a wide variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a diverse array of industry sectors.
The successful individual will undertake a varied and challenging position in which the workload will include the preparation and review of statutory and management accounts as well as completing the associated corporate and personal tax compliance work for your client portfolio.
The ideal candidate for the position will have experience of undertaking a varied general practice position and may be AAT Qualified, ACCA / ACCA Part or Fully Qualified, or Qualified by Experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation of Corporation and Personal Tax returns
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Review of work completed by junior staff
Advising clients on bookkeeping methods
Liaising with HMRC and other 3rd parties (i.e. insurance companies and banks) on behalf of clients
Skills:
AAT Qualified, ACCA or ACA Part or Fully Qualified, or QBE
Experience of working in a varied practice role
