Clark Wood are delighted to be working with an Independent firm of accountants in Crewe who, due to continued success and growth, are seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team where you will work on a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified and will have strong experience of dealing with a broad range of clients within a practice setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Senior who is looking to take the next step in their career and undertake a role which will allow for more responsibility and opportunities for further career development.

Duties & Responsibilities

Preparing Limited Company, Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
Preparing Corporation Tax computations
Preparing Sole Trader and Partnership accounts
Management accounts work including use of online accounting software
Ad hoc special assignment work
Working closely with the portfolio manager and partner
Assisting and training junior members of the team

Skills & Experience

ACCA / ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
Online accounting experience useful, particularly Xero
Recent experience of working in practice is essential
