Business Services Semi Senior - Ellesmere Port

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading and highly progressive regional firm of accountants who are now seeking to recruit a Business Services Semi Senior to join the team in their Ellesmere Port office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join a well renowned firm where you will undertake a varied business services role. You will primarily be responsible for preparing financial accounts as well as the associated tax compliance work for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.

The ideal candidate for the position will have experience of undertaking a similar Semi Senior level role within practice and may be AAT Part or Fully qualified, or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA qualification.

This is the perfect opportunity for an existing Semi Senior to build on the experience they have gained to date within a highly progressive and growing firm where there will be genuine scope for career progression and development.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of an exciting and diverse portfolio of clients 
Preparing the accounts for companies, partnerships and sole trades
Preparing of business tax and Corporation Tax computations and returns
Preparing Self-Assessment and Partnership Tax Returns
Reviewing accounting and tax work prepared by others
Overseeing junior staff in the preparation of accounts, providing training where required and assisting with their development

Skills:

AAT Qualified or Part Qualified / ACA/ACCA Part Qualified 
Qualified by Experience would also be considered
Experience of working in practice is essential
