Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with an award winning firm of accountants in Peterborough who are looking to add an Accounts Semi Senior to their growing team.

The position will involve the preparation of year end accounts, management accounts and the associated tax computations for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of business sectors.

The ideal individual for the role will have a solid foundation in general practice work and will have experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, as well as bookkeeping and VAT work. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified and/or studying towards ACCA/ACA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies 
Corporation Tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
VAT returns & bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC queries
Liaising directly with clients
Building strong client relationships

Skills:

ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified/ Student
AAT Student or QBE
Experience of working in practice is essential
