Business Services Semi Senior

Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with this established and leading Regional firm of accountants in Lincolnshire who are looking to add a Business Services / Accounts Semi Senior to the existing team in their Louth office.

This role would suit an ambitious and driven Business Services / Accounts Semi Senior who is keen to develop their career within a well renowned and leading firm.

The successful individual will take responsibility for the preparation of accounts, profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.  This includes the preparation of the associated tax returns (self-assessment, corporation tax returns and VAT returns), assisting other group members in professional work and providing support where required.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualification, and will have experience of undertaking a similarly varied role within practice.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounts Preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of corporation and personal tax computations
Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date
Dealing with the completion of quarterly VAT returns
Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Skills:

AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA / ACA qualification
Experience of working in Practice
