Clark Wood are currently working with a rapidly expanding practice in the town of Crewe. The firm offer a mix of general practice, accounts and business services work, whilst also providing exposure to interesting and complex audit work.

This opportunity provides great career prospects with genuine emphasis on organically growing the firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Within this role you will have exposure to both the accounts and tax functions, therefore the ideal candidate must have a genuine interest in accountancy.
Dealing with Tax Returns, VAT and keeping up to date with current legislation
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies from incomplete records, or computerised records
Producing a set of accounts for review, either by a manager or reporting directly to a partner
A good knowledge of Audit would be advantageous for this post and a reasonable knowledge of SME Accounts

Skills:

AAT Qualified or ACCA Student
