Business Services Manager

Public Practice Specialists Clark Wood have are working with a leading independent firm in Royston who are seeking a Business Services Manager (non-audit)

The main duties of this role include delivering accounting & taxation services to Limited Companies, Sole Traders & Partnerships. The successful candidate will have strong Accounts & Tax experience and and will be working with a diverse range of clients.

The role will involve managing your own portfolio of clients as well as junior staff members, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation and review of VAT returns
Preparation of Personal Tax returns including self-assessments
Preparation of Corporation Tax computations
Dealing with clients ad hoc queries
Review of work done by junior staff
Excellent client interaction skills

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
AAT Qualified & QBE candidates will also be considered
Experience of working in practice is essential
