Business Services Manager – Glasgow

Clark Wood are working with a leading accountancy practice in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an experienced Business Services Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while playing a key role in supporting and developing junior members of the team.

The Role

- Managing a varied portfolio of Business Services clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax work
- Reviewing work completed by Accounts Assistants and Seniors
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff
- Managing and developing members of the team
- Resolving more complex client queries
- Attending client meetings and building strong client relationships
- Supporting the continued growth of the department

The Candidate

- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Confident reviewing work and supporting junior staff
- Strong technical and client-facing skills
- Ambitious and keen to progress
