Business Services Client Manager

Specialist Public Practice recruiters Clark Wood are currently working with a well renowned and highly progressive firm of accountants in the Lancaster area who, as a result of continued growth within the firm, are now looking to add an ACA or ACCA Qualified Business Services Manager / Accounts Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients consisting primarily of limited companies but also with sole traders, and partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently for clients within your designated portfolio.

As a Client Manager, the workload within the role will be focused towards the preparation and primarily the review of statutory and management accounts for clients as well as the associated corporate and personal tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking an Accounts and Tax focused position within a client facing environment and will have gained significant exposure to a range of clients, particularly those within the SME and OMB markets.

Staff management will be a key part of the role as you will be required to manage and supervise junior members of staff engaged on work for your client portfolio.

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Excellent understanding of the accounting and tax requirements of SMEs
Experience of client and staff management
