Business Services Client Manager

Public Practice Recruitment Specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-respected independent firm in Launceston who are now looking to add an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to their growing team.

The role will involve managing your own portfolio of varied clients which will primarily consist of limited companies and partnerships from a diverse array of industry sectors.

You will have responsibility for supervising junior staff members and delegating and reviewing work to them as required.

The main duties of this role will be to ensure the delivery of accounting & taxation services to your designated client base. These services will include the preparation and predominantly the review of statutory accounts, personal and corporate tax returns, as well as some management accounting and VAT work.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced client manager and will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience of working within practice. Individuals working at Senior level and looking to make the step up into a Client Manager role will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation and review of Personal Tax returns including self-assessments
Preparation and review of Corporation Tax computations
Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Preparation and review of VAT returns
Dealing with clients ad hoc queries
Review of work done by junior staff
Excellent client interaction skills
