Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with an established independent firm in the Great Dunmow area who are seeking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their team where you will be responsible for dealing with a range of external clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience of undertaking bookkeeping work as well as the preparation of VAT returns within a practice environment and may be AAT qualified / part qualified or Qualified by Experience.
Strong software experience is a must and experience of using cloud-based software packages such as Xero, Sage One, or Quickbooks would be beneficial.
This position can be undertaken on either a full or part time basis with this firm being able to offer the successful candidate excellent flexibility and a genuine work-life balance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Undertaking bookkeeping for clients
Preparing VAT returns
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of CIS returns
Maintaining up to date complete financial records
Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
Attending clients’ premises as required to discuss / gather relevant information
Skills:
AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or Qualified by Experience
Experience of working in practice is essential
