Are you an experienced accounts & audit senior looking to work in a supervisory role with a large firm that can offer better career progression?

Public Practice specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading national firm who are looking to add an Supervisor/ Assistant Manager to their growing Bristol Audit team. It’s a very exciting time to join the firm with strong growth plans and the opportunity to work with significant corporate clients.

As an Audit Supervisor,  the role would suit individuals with experience of leading audits who are keen to work in a mixed audit and accounts role offering broad client sector exposure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leading audits from planning to completion
You will have the responsibility to lead, manage, develop and coach an effective audit team
Monitor  and  control  the  audit  team, review  their  work,  ensuring  quality  in  compliance  with professional standards
Oversee and control completion of audit assignments including assessing controls, systems and planning
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
Manage client relationships and identify opportunities
Business development - identify and win new clients
Contribute to ‘non-client’ work
Manage and mentor junior staff

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Finalist/ Part-qualified also considered
Based in Bristol/South West
Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
