Clark Wood are delighted to be working with possibly the largest firm in Staffordshire who are looking to add an Audit Supervisor to their Stoke team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading and national firm of accountants and have the responsibility for providing on-site delivery and supervision of each assignment in an efficient and effective manner, and to help ensure that clients receive a quality service in all respects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard within budget, and to discuss all relevant points arising with the Audit Manager immediately, particularly in relation to any anticipated overruns.

Liaise with the client appropriately and to practice the principles of excellent service at all times, acting as a day to day point of contact for the client.

Brief staff on the clients business and the pre assignment instructions, to supervise and control the completion of work and to deliver 'on the job training' where necessary

Support the training and development of the junior staff and review work completed by for accuracy and completeness and to perform written job appraisal feedback.

Perform the firm's review and completion procedures, to attend the final meeting with the client and to ensure that the client subsequently receives the final accounts and commercial management letter on a timely basis.

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified, preferred first time pass
