Clark Wood are currently recruiting for one of the UK's leading Top 30 firms based in London, City.
Our client are looking to make a significant recruit adding a Senior Manager to their ever expanding Audit department.
The key responsibilities for this role include managing a diverse range of audit clients across a variety of industry sectors with a turnover range of £10m to £200m. Clients include high street names, multinational groups and entrepreneurial, OMB, SME and AIM listed clients.
Take direct responsibility for all aspects the services provided, incorporating remuneration planning, corporate group structures, etc.; supporting clients through corporate transactions (sales, purchases, fund raising etc.).
Planning and organising - to ensure all client work is carried out within the appropriate timescales through continual monitoring of progression of the work.
Technical expertise - to ensure audit conducted to correct standard and accounts preparation is accurate and meaningful for the type of industry. To be able to answer staff and client technical queries and make technical decisions; departmental management and assisting the existing partners with training and developing staff.

Business development activities and winning work by proactively managing existing clients and targeting new audit and non-audit clients. Involvement in formal and informal pitching procedures.
Up to date technical knowledge UK GAAP, IFRS’s, ISAs, Companies Act legislation
