Audit Senior - Legal Sector

An opportunity has arisen for Audit Senior to join a leading Regional Firm of accountants within their specialist Legal Sector Audit Team.

An interest in business development and promoting the firm's specialism in acting for solicitors is an essential part of this role.

Complete statutory audit, accountancy and taxation assignments on a wide range of legal sector clients;
Complete SRA Accounts Rules assignments on a wide range of legal sector clients;
Supervise a range of team members working on those clients;
Support the local Legal Sector Manager and Director in providing our range of business improvement services to solicitors.

Supervisory experience is desirable as you will have responsibility for supervising and training other staff members.  

To prepare statutory and non-statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, Partnerships, Sole Traders and SRAAR reports together with files for manager/partner review;
To plan, co-ordinate and complete such assignments;
To liaise with clients, both in advance of and during assignment, to obtain all necessary information;
To ensure that work is completed to meet external deadlines from client and regulatory authorities and internal deadlines notified by Legal Sector Manager;

Candidates must possess the ACA or ACCA qualification or be in the latter stages of exams.
