Audit Senior

Our client is looking for Audit Senior to work with in their Harrogate office. The practice in question has experienced rapid growth over the past couple of year and they have an excellent reputation in the local market place.

This is a challenging and interesting role which will include exposure to a wide range of clients, often working to tight deadlines.

An experienced Audit professional able to demonstrate a passion for delivering quality and ensures that client needs are met, benefiting both the client and the firm

The mix of work includes providing audit services at client premises in various sectors including retail, manufacturing, professional services, charities, and the sport and entertainment industry.

In summary, the role can currently be split approximately as follows:

60% in-charge role on statutory audits;
 
15% responsibility for preparing financial statements in respect of limited companies, partnerships and trusts;
 
5% preparation of the first draft of the company tax returns for audit assignments;

10% training, marketing and other non-chargeable activities;
 
10% ad hoc projects/reports for the client base.

You will be either ACA or ACCA qualified and first-time pass rates in the professional exams would also be beneficial.
