Audit Senior - Durham

Clark Wood is working with a leading accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team based in Durham.

This is a great opportunity to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of audit clients, lead assignments from planning through to completion and support the development of junior team members.

The Role

* Manage statutory audits from planning through to completion.
* Lead on-site audit teams and act as a key client contact.
* Review work and support junior members of the team.
* Work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audits.
* Use digital audit tools to improve efficiency and quality.
* Attend client sites across the North East and Yorkshire.

About You

* ACA/ACCA qualified.
* Strong audit experience within a UK accountancy practice.
* Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
* Confident leading audit assignments and managing deadlines.
* Strong communication and client relationship skills.
* Good IT skills, including Excel and audit software.
* Able to travel to client sites when required.
