Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a leading Top 20 UK accountancy firm in their search for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team in Colchester.

The Colchester office continues to see sustained growth across its audit portfolio, creating the need for a driven and career-focused individual to strengthen the team.

As an Audit Semi Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments for a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate groups across a range of sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the planning and completion of statutory audits
Leading on-site audit fieldwork
Preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Supporting and mentoring junior staff members
Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships

The Ideal Candidate:

ACA / ACCA Part Qualified (or AAT Qualified with strong audit experience)
At least 2+ years’ experience within a UK practice environment
