This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and leading local practice based in Lewes who are looking for an Audit Manager (OMBs, Charities, Academies)

Supporting the Directors, as an Audit Manager (OMBs, Charities, Academies) you will be responsible for the following;

As an Audit Manager (OMBs, Charities, Academies) you will have responsibility for managing your own interesting & varied portfolio, having a particular focus on our Charities & Academy clients, a growing this sector.

You will manage the audit process from planning through to completion, overseeing the team assigned to each assignment and taking responsibility to ensure client expectations are met and that jobs are delivered effectively.

You will also be influential in the management & development of the wider audit team, carrying out 1:1’s to facilitate continuous development & ongoing training of team members.

Our client based in Lewes is looking for the following knowledge and qualifications:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
Manage client audit engagements across a wide variety of sectors, including charities, Academies and owner managed businesses
Manage the workflow, and resourcing of the audit portfolio
Supervise and support colleagues
Lead planning (including client meetings), review of audit files and statutory accounts
