Out client, a UK Top 20 Accountancy practice are looking to recruit an ambitious Audit Manager for their key London office. Are you an Audit Assistant Manager or Supervisor looking for a step up into Management or an Audit Manager from a smaller independent firm looking for a larger firm and more challenging environment?

As an Audit Manager you will report into and learn from the General Practice/ Audit Partners, whilst working alongside the Senior Managers in the department.

This large Central London firm can offer excellent corporate exposure from OMBs to AIM listed clients and can offer the opportunity to progress into a partner designate.

The Audit Manager will be a crucial member of the audit department. They will be responsible for servicing clients, directing all assurance services delivered, and managing our people. They will also be responsible for supporting the Managers on larger jobs as well as managing their own portfolios.

Maintain and develop technical ability by attending webinars, keeping abreast of technical development and being able to present own research on technically challenging aspects;
Being the point of reference for the audit team in terms of technical queries;
Guiding the audit team to perform work which will address these risks and support the RI in coming to an audit opinion;
Work closely with the Partner in the planning and conduct of audit assignments discussing findings;
Ensure that files presented for partner review address the risks identified at planning and any emerging risks encountered during the fieldwork;
Provision of general business advice to clients;
Lead, manage, develop and coach an effective audit team; Staff Appraisals
