Audit Manager - Bristol
Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a large national, Top 10 practice in Bristol who are seeking to add an ACA / ACCA Qualified Audit Manager to their team.
This role provides genuine progression to Senior Manager level within a short time frame if achievable targets are met.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will be responsible for a sizeable portfolio of key clients across a range of sectors including : technology, media and telecoms, professional services, real estate, not-for- profit (museums, education, arts/music institutions) and the consumer sector (retail, food & beverage).
You will be a key point of contact to clients, assist audit partners in establishing audit approach, review audit work papers and ensure that audit files are completed in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage junior auditors on specific assignments to ensure audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.
Motivate and coach team members, providing feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal.
Act as a trusted business adviser to clients.
Manage a significant portfolio of clients and will always strive to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
Take on wider department responsibilities, such as pitching for new work, recruitment or people management.

The Central Bristol office is perfectly commutable from areas all over the South West; Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Taunton, Weston etc.
