This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our clients growing team as an Audit Assistant Manager based at their Bournemouth Office within a 19-strong team.

The Role:

Providing audit and advisory services at client premises in various sectors including retail, manufacturing, agriculture, professional services, charities and schools.
Clients are predominantly owner-managed businesses within the SME sector, with some regulated work including FCA compliance audits.
Provide outstanding service in a professional and efficient manner tailored to give the client the benefit of exceptional advice and maximum added value
Responsibilities will include planning and leading audits, finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment, providing solutions and seeking input for areas of concern and judgement.
Supervising and coaching qualified staff and trainees.
Demonstrating an understanding of the different types of risk, understanding the Firm’s approach and policies for managing risk in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules and following policies.
Opportunities to work on special assignments and projects.

The Candidate:

ACA / ACCA qualified.
Exposure to a good range of clients, both in size and sector, in general practice or audit.
Experience of the agricultural sector is desirable and familiarity with electronic auditing packages, accounts prep./accounts production is an advantage.
Sets priorities, defines activities, gives responsibilities and plans work so that results are achieved on time.
Seeks self-development and provides support that enables others to develop within the firm.
Works cooperatively with others, positively influences them and ensures team participation to support the firm’s goals.
