Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly respected and progressive firm of chartered accountants in Brighton who are looking to add an ACA / ACCA Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to their team.

The role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of respected and interesting clients in the area, as well as preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns. The workload is likely to be split around 60:40 towards audit over accounts.

You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified or at the final stages of their studies and will have recent experience of undertaking a mixed audit and accounts position. Experience of leading audit assignments is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning, leading and completing audits.
Meeting and communicating with clients.
Preparation of financial statements and corporation tax returns.
Taking an active part in the firm’s business development and marketing activities

Skills:

ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
Experience of leading Audit assignments
