Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with an esteemed and distinguished firm of chartered accountants who, as a result of sustained growth and the addition of new clients, are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to the team in their Canterbury office.

The position will be focused towards the audit aspect of the role with this aspect accounting for approximately 60-70% of the overall workload.

You will assist as part of a team on audit assignments and will allow for exposure to each stage of the process, from the initial planning stage through to completion. You will play an active role on each assignment you are involved with, allowing you to develop your experience with a view to progressing to a senior role and working towards leading teams on assignments in time.

Aside from the audit element of the role you will also be involved with the preparation of year-end accounts for a variety for clients (audit and non-audit) as well as corporation tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have commenced their ACA / ACCA studies and may be at the part qualified stage. You will have existing experience of assisting on audit assignments in your current role (whether a pure audit or mixed accounts & audit position). Full study support and structured training and development will be on offer to the successful individual.

Skills:

ACA or ACCA Student / Part Qualified
