Audit & Accounts Director / Senior Manager with ref.

Clark Wood has been instructed to work on a fantastic opportunity in Newcastle within this growing Top 50 firm for an Audit & Accounts Director / Senior Manager due to succession planning.

The role will be with the firms commercial and owner managed client base and you will be required to work on your own clients where you will take responsibility for a portfolio, providing all round accounting services and advice.

This would be ideally suited for a career focused professional, who has demonstrable skills and attitude to progress within the firm. The position will provide the potential for a route to partnership, in the medium and longer term.

Manage specific Audit & Assurance clients and lead the audit function within our rapidly expanding office.

You will be expected to manage workflow, provide an unrivalled client service, lead on business development and deliver the departments commercial performance.

Ideally you will have significant experience with a variety of mainstream SME's with a mix of working with public sector organisations, charities and housing association clients.

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified and will have developed outstanding practice experience either in a large, national firm or regional, independent accountancy practice; You should currently hold RI status, or be ambitions to develop towards attaining it in the near future.
