Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager - Reading

​

Our client, a large national Top 50 firm, a winner of national accountancy awards, are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager into their Auditing team in Reading, Berkshire.

​

As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager you will report into the Audit Partners working with the Managers & Senior Managers running the department.

​

The firm offer a meritocratic environment, where clear parameters are set out for progression to Manager. There is no glass ceiling for swift progression!

​

The successful individual will undertake a varied and challenging position in which the workload will include compliance work in the form of; Planning and completion of audits for a broad range of clients (some international, overseas clients); Effectively managing and reviewing the work of a team of Auditors; Reporting directly to and communicating effectively with the Audit Manager/Audit Partner.

​

Ensuring all sections of an audit file are correct and completed in a timely manner ensuring that all statutory disclosures have been made

Clearing review points from the Manager/Partner in order to finalise audits, involving communication with clients where necessary to resolve audit issues

Performing corporation tax and deferred tax computations

​

The local Reading office is commutable from areas over the Berkshire area; Newbury, Winnersh, Wokingham, Bracknell, Guildford, Basingstoke etc.

Skills:

​

ACA/ACCA Qualified or Finalist/ Newly Qualified
